SA’s Favourite Hand-Milking Exhibition

This year we are excited to again from the The Udder Tug – Hand Milking Exhibition and Celebrity Tug Off

Cows kindly supplied by the “Bellview Jersey Stud” – Two Wells

Don’t forget to head to the main area at 1pm for the Charity Auction, Milking Exhibition and Celebrity Tug Off.

Udder Tug Rules

  • Each milker is allowed four (4) minutes to milk their cow.
  • Only one milker is permitted to milk the cow.
  • Only two handlers (one at front and one at rear) are permitted.
  • No lubricants for udder preconditioning are permitted.
  • No seats or stools permitted.
  • The milking bucket must be held in the air until the order to start has been given.
  • Only the designated milker is permitted to touch the udder.
  • Any introduced foreign material which extends the quantity of the milk will result in disqualification.
  • The judges’ decision is final.
